Configurable to handle up to 4 models, PULSE uses linear synchronous motor technology to move automotive car body sections through robotic work stations along assembly lines as joining and other functions are performed. Solid state linear motors minimize component wear count and associated maintenance requirements/downtime threats, while safety is fostered via system's stopping speed capability. Design flexibility allows adaptation to physical conditions at each assembly plant.
