Carver Laraway trying to save 50 steelworker jobs at port

Harris Rebar is planning to move 50 jobs out of New York state - unless businessman Carver Laraway can build the company a new facility at the Port of Coeymans. Laraway wants to build a new 41,000 square-foot building at the Coeymans Industrial Park for Harris Rebar, which is a subsidiary of Nucor Corp. and makes concrete reinforcing bars, or rebar.
