Cato's same-store sales jump 14%

The Cato Corp. says its total sales rose 14 percent to $54.9 million for the four weeks ended Jan. 31, and same-store sales were up 14 percent as well. The Charlotte-based retailer reports fourth-quarter sales of $237.8 million, up 10 percent from its $216.5 million total a year earlier.
