Integrating over 20 discrete components required for supercap cell balancing on single chip, Model BD14000EFV-C promotes expansion of energy regeneration applications in industrial equipment, automotive start-stop systems, and voltage sag countermeasures. Detection is enabled for 4–6 cells, and cell balancing voltage can be set from 2.4–3.1 V, ensuring support for variety of supercaps. Flag output is built-in, along with overcurrent detection voltage function with adjustable setting.
