Salinas >> In the past 24 hours, nearly 90 percent of Central Coast adolescents have consumed a sports or energy drink, an alarming statistic made worse because during that time, a quarter have not had a glass of water. Those are some of the findings of a major new survey of Central Coast residents by health officials in Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties.
