Chain saw artist Vicki Langton, of Perry, stands by the statue of a railroad engineer she created that was recently installed on top of a tree stump in Horton. Langton will return in the spring to reshape the stump and attach an emblem from the Rock Island Railroad, which, at one time, had a line that ran through the city.
