Charges filed in attempted Old Town bank robbery

The FBI says a man who tried to rob an Old Town bank over the weekend is a suspect is two other bank heists in Chicago last month. Andrew Garland, 46, walked into a TCF bank branch in the Jewel-Osco at 1210 N. Clark St. around 1:55 p.m. Saturday, according to the FBI.
