UTC Aerospace Systems, a Charlotte-based division of United Technologies, said it provided critical control systems for the Orion spacecraft that completed its first test flight Friday . UTC Aerospace was formed by Hartford, Conn.-based United Technologies' 2012 acquisition of Charlotte-based Goodrich.
