2015-06-27 01:24:57| Telecom - Topix.net

Charter Communications Inc. formally made its case to the Federal Communications Commission for its $78.7 billion acquisition of Time Warner Cable , arguing that the merger would provide consumers with faster, cheaper Internet service. In the Thursday filing with the FCC, Charter said that broadband services provided by the merged company would cost less than those currently offered by Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks, which Charter also is seeking to acquire, Reuters reports.
