Gluten-free at a glance General Mills announced in February that it would make 90 percent of its Cheerios portfolio -- original, Honey Nut, Frosted, and Apple Cinnamon and Multi Grain -- gluten-free. General Mills' gluten-free Cheerios initiative is the largest of its kind among breakfast cereal makers.
