Cheniere Energy gets green light for Port of Corpus Christi construction

Houston-based Cheniere Energy Inc. is expected to start $12 billion worth of construction within the next 60 days to build the first liquefied natural gas export terminal in the Port of Corpus Christi. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved the LNG plant on Dec. 31 .
