Cherokee Resident Inducted into Santa Claus Hall of Fame

Tim Cavender, who lives in Ball Ground, was inducted into the Hall of Fame at a ceremony held in New York. The ceremony was held April 17 in Albion, New York, which is the birthplace of Charles Howard, who appeared as Santa in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from 1948 to 1965.
