China Eastern Airlines 2013 Net Profit Down 25%

The Chinese carrier, which operates out of the Shanghai financial hub, said in a statement Wednesday its net profit for the 12 months ended Dec. 31, 2013, was 2.38 billion Chinese yuan , according to Chinese accounting standards, down from a net profit of 3.17 billion yuan a year earlier.
