China Telecom, Unicom swap chairmen

(Telecompaper) China Telecom and China Unicom have swapped chairmen. Unicom's chairman Chang Xiaobing will take up the same position at Telecom, replacing Wang Xiaochu, who becomes chairman of China Unicom. Xiaochu has also resigned from his position as executive director, chairman and CEO of China Telecom, effective immediately, and Xiaobing has done the same at China Unicom, from 24 August.
