China Textile & Clothing Production Costs (Country Report)

Production costs are less clearly declining in the textile industry in China whereas they are more sharply rising in the clothing industry, as a clear sign that the deflation period could soon be over in the leading manufacturing country. This is mostly due to an overall rise of commodities and other inputs since the start of the year. This statistical report offers a comprehensive view of production costs and consumer prices in China, including in textile and clothing sectors. Labor costs in major provinces are also being followed.
