China Textile & Clothing Production Costs (Country Report)

Production costs have less significantly risen in November in China, possibly due to a weaker demand than observed in the prior months. Import tariffs have been slashed, reflecting the continuous shift to a consumer economy, after labor costs have further risen in 2017 and apparel exports again dropped. Our statistical report offers a comprehensive view of production costs and consumer prices in China, including in textile and clothing sectors. Labor costs in major provinces are also being followed.
