China's production prices have returned to positive territory in January for the first time in a year. The post-Covid era could result in a new rise in labor costs, however. However, the rebound in retail sales lacks momentum, whereas Western countries' demand could now stagnate or even decline in 2021. Our statistical report offers a comprehensive view of production costs and consumer prices in China, including in the textile and clothing sectors.
