Spun yarn prices are not anymore changing in China, due to a lack of demand from downward processors still attracted by imports. Confronted with a new crisis, China's yarn industry could now focus on the higher end of the market, thanks to new investment plans by largest companies. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Historical data are available for download.
