China's passenger-car market recorded its weakest gain in 26 months in April amid a worse-than-expected economic slowdown. China sold 1.67 million passenger vehicles last month, up 3.7% from a year earlier, government-backed industry group China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said Monday.
