China stands firm on demand for US to remove tariffs

China is reportedly sticking to its guns and demanding the US remove tariffs on the country's imports after President Donald Trump warned last week he will "substantially raise" tariffs on Chinese goods should the two sides be unable to finalise the "phase one" trade agreement they are currently negotiating.
