With inlet openings from 3 in., AirTrim Granulators/Choppers are built for reduction of plastics, nonwovens, textiles, cardboard, tissue, and packaging materials. Systems have cast iron or fabricated stainless steel housings; single piece, center-axis rotor; and 3, 6, 9, or 12 blades. Design dispenses lubricant directly from cutter shaft, keeping blades free of debris. With processing speeds of 1,700 rpm at 60 Hz, granulators/choppers enable bed knife adjustments for fine tuning.
