Enhancing safety for operators, motorized and remotely operated circuit breaker racking device provides means to remotely insert or remove drawout circuit breakers used in Eaton VacClad-W switchgear. Design increases distance between operator and live components to mitigate impacts of arc flash exposure, and operator can use remote controls to select, disconnect, test, or connect circuit breaker positions. System also detects errors and provides suggested corrective actions.
