(Telecompaper) Cisco has announced that more than 30 additional companies, including Deutsche Telekom, BT, NTT Data and Equinix, have added their support to Intercloud, the global network of interconnected clouds, that Cisco and its partners are developing to enable a new generation of standardised cloud applications and the proliferation of highly secure hybrid clouds. According to Re/Code, Cisco will invest USD 1 billion into its cloud offerings over the next two years.
