City Council OKs rezoning for used car dealership on West Avenue

A used car dealership could set up shop this summer in a building on West Avenue that has been vacant for several years, if the prospective owner of the business can buy the property and obtain an auto dealer's license. Tallmadge City Council voted 5 to 1 April 9 to approve a request from HTH LLC, doing business as Silver Star Motors, to rezone the 1.58-acre property at 257 West Ave. so that Ovsep Tovmasyan could buy the property and operate the business from it.
