City considers free downtown Wi-Fi

City leaders are looking seriously at providing free wireless service for Internet connections along a central portion of Main Street in the downtown area. The idea, floated by Mayor Mark Boughton in his December State of the City speech, is the latest project in a series of initiatives to attract residents and visitors to downtown.
