City of Flint says Wednesday meeting will detail efforts to provide safe drinking water

The city says it will host a water presentation on Wednesday, Jan. 21, detailing water treatment, distribution and steps being taken to ensure that "citizens get water that meets all regulatory safety and quality standards." The city emergency manager's office announced the meeting in a news release today, Jan. 16, and said city, Genesee County and state Department of Environmental Quality representatives are scheduled to attend the 7 p.m. meeting in the City Hall Dome at Flint's municipal center.
