City of Riesel May Face Fines for Arsenic in Water

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality cited the city with $1,094 for not maintaining arsenic levels at acceptable levels for several years. TCEQ said extra arsenic levels in water can have a long-term health impact if it is consumed for decades.
