City of Temple Taking Steps to Address Water Contaminants

The City of Temple is now taking steps to reduce the amount of Trihalomethanes in the water supply after the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality notified the City by phone last week. Trihalomethanes are created when chlorine is added to river or lake water for decontamination at a water plant.
