Civil Engineering Architectural Project Support mf The Mission We are looking for a Junior Civil Engineering Architectural Project Support to be located at the customer site ESOC in Darmstadt. The successful candidate will be providing support to the ESOC Technical Management Section which belongs to ESOC Facility Management Services in the ESA Facility Management Departments. The ESOC Technical Management Section is responsible for The overall maintenance of all ESOC buildings and facilities around 40.000 sqm of offices, control rooms, laboratories and technical areas including facilities for the production of hot chilled water and for electrical power generation and distribution The overall planning, design and followup of new constructions, as well as the refurbishment of existing buildings and their modifications The management of an outsourced maintenance contract, which performance is based and driven by KPIs Key Performance Indicator with an associated bonus and penalty scheme. This contract includes civil, mechanical and electrical works related to the operations of existing installations and to their maintenance The management of utilities, the identification and implementation of energy saving measures The modifications requested by the various users of the site linked to offices, laboratories and technical areas The compliance of the site buildings, the site infrastructure and its equipment and services with the applicable European, national and local regulations. The Challenge He she shall support the Head of ESOC Technical Management Section. The overall task to be performed is Management Support including Attending and representing the Technical Management Section in Review and Project meetings as required Support in the management and maintenance of ESOC outdoors facilities and buildings Support in the planning, design and Followup of new constructions, existing buildings refurbishment Liaison with architects, consulting engineers, contractors and other external services related to projects Support in the Follow up and supervision of civil projects project budget up to 400,000 Euros performed by on or offsite contractors Supporting the control of the quality, specifications, costs and planning aspects of civil works performed by on and offsite contractors Support in the supervision and follow up of modifications requested by the various users of the site linked to offices, control rooms, laboratories and technical areas Preparation and presentation of Statement of Work, reports and studies, as required This is a fulltime position with an immediate planned starting date.
