Claim Your $25 Gift Card at NADA by Sharing an Internet Marketing Tip Some of you may be familiar with the videos that I share in this newsletter on a regular basis. I've been pleasantly surprised at the positive responses to various "best practice" and Internet marketing tips-- it appears that dealership Internet sales professionals are always curious to know what is working for their peers and what isn't. That's why I thought it would be a good idea to put together videos of Internet sales professionals sharing their own "best practice" and Internet marketing tips with their peers. To that effect, AutoUSA is running a promotion at NADA this year. If you are an Internet Director, Internet Sales Manager, Sales Director, BDC Manager or an industry sales and/or training consultant, we're inviting you to stop by AutoUSA's Booth # 3514 and share a "best practices" or Internet marketing tip on video. As a way of saying "thanks," AutoUSA will give you a $25 gift card. The "best practices" or Internet marketing tip can be an answer to one of the following questions: 1) Fill in the blank: 2014 is the year of_______. What do you think is the most important or 'must have' technology or marketing trend for dealership Internet departments this year, and why? 2) What is the most common objection you hear from Internet or website leads and what is the most effective strategy you've used to deal with this objection? 3) What is your website conversion rate (% of visitors who turn into buyers) and what website conversion tool delivers the most leads and/or the best leads from your website? 4) Is your dealership Internet department doing video marketing? If so, what type of video (i.e. personalized e-mail video, video walk arounds, website videos featuring staff) do you think results in the highest response rates and why? 5) What are the two most important Key Performance Indicators (KPI) you use to measure ROI of Internet and website leads, and why do you think they are the best? (i.e. Cost-Per-Sale, Close Rate Percentages, total gross from each source) 6) What is your best tip for getting an Internet lead to come in for an appointment? 7) What do you think is the biggest mistake that salespeople make that turn customers away, and what do you think is the "right way" to do it? When we get enough tips, we'll edit together a video for each question/topic, and post them over the course of the next several months.
