Center Auto Lease, a subsidiary of CIMB Thai Bank, is considering raising its loan target to 7 billion baht this year after healthy loan expansion in the first half despite the sluggish economy and slow car sales. Strong loan growth could be the result of a change in strategy to focus on salaried workers instead of self-employed customers, said managing director Visit Phuengpornsawan.
