Quadrangle: Working with fellow researchers in Finland, Hammer compared the dung of livestock that were given tetracycline with those of cattle that were not given the antibiotic. Overall, the researchers found that antibiotics upped the methane footprint of dung by an average of 80 percent over poo from cattle that weren't fed drugs.
