KOIN: Fishery delegates from Oregon, Washington, California and Idaho are meeting to discuss fishing limits.
In the past, aggressive commercial fishing caused the Pacific Fishery Management Council to limit the number of fish people can catch. But this year, it`s more of a climate issue.
"The oceans provide our oxygen, the oceans provide tremendous protein that the world`s population lives. We are all ocean people one way or another," says Kathy Sullivan with NOAA.
