She has been an iron-willed political leader, but one who likes to trek miles around town each day in her Nikes and bake batches of cookies to sweeten Borough Council meetings. After 17 years in Borough Hall, eight years as mayor, Sophie Heymann decided not to seek reelection last year and on Monday will pass the mayoralty to John Glidden.
