Cognex to Sell Its Surface Inspection Systems Division

Cognex Corporation today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell the assets of its Surface Inspection Systems Division to AMETEK, Inc. for approximately $160 million in cash. Closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.
