By U.S. Meat Export Federation staff U.S. pork exports are on a record pace in 2014, with totals through July up 7% from a year ago in volume (1.32 million metric tons) and 16% in value ($4.0 billion). One of the forces behind this performance is Colombia, which has rapidly emerged as a the top destination for U.S. pork in the Central-South America region. read more
