BIO and Colorado BioScience Association commend Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper for signing legislation to create pathway for substitution of interchangeable biologic medicines. Senate Bill 71 includes transparent communication on all biologic medicines dispensed in order to maintain complete medical record. Bill seeks to properly preserve patient access to accurate prescription information, maintains incentives for innovation, and promotes competitive market for biologic therapies.
