Colorado scores the cover of the L.L. Bean catalog

The retailer L.L. Bean will mark the opening of its first Colorado store by featuring a painting of Mount Adams on the cover of its widely distributed catalog. The company, which announced in September plans for the store at the Park Meadows mall in Lone Tree, will hold a grand opening celebration for the new store from Nov. 21-Nov. 23. L.L. Bean has previously sold its outdoor clothing and equipment in Colorado only online and through mail order.
