This is an opportunity for a System Controller preferably with some experience of Columbus ISS ground segment operations to start latest 1st of September 2015. The position is based onsite at our customers premises near Munich. The submission deadline for interested candidates is 25th of August 2015. RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES Columbus Ground System Controller preferably with some experience of Columbus mission. Ground system operations support for ISS Columbus Supporting scheduled simulations and test operations Preparation of the Columbus ground segment systems for scheduled activities, specially the Data Services System DaSS and Monitoring Control System MCS subsystems of scheduled preventive maintenance Works closely with the subsystem engineers to ensure that any service changes are correctly implemented and documented Updating and validating Ground Control Team Procedures QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE Engineering degree AEROSPACE OR ANY OTHER RELATED STREAM Some experience of Space Industry UNIX, LINUX Be fluent in English, both in speaking and writing ESSENTIAL SKILLS Ability to think in an analytical way Collaborative and team worker Good communication skills Solution oriented Computer proficiency DESIRABLE SKILLS Programming skills like Java, C, C BENEFITS Competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package including 30 days holiday, generous training possibilities and Telespazio VEGA Deutschland pension scheme is offered to the successful candidate.
