ISO has submitted proposal for new field of activity on solid recovered fuels. Proposal specifies that intended program of work for the standardization of solid recovered fuels would include: basic standards, including terminology; standard for describing and defining classification system; and standard defining quality management for production of SRF. It would also include testing and analysis standards and technical specifications for sampling and sample preparation of solid recovered fuels.
