Position Reference 447 You will have the opportunity to provide engineering support to the Telecommunication TTC Systems Technologies Section at the European Space Agency. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Satellite modem physical and link layer analysis, design, prototyping and testing. SATCOM Systems and network analysis and simulations. Support the preparation of the section RD technology roadmaps in the area of telecom systems and networks. Support the section telecom lab activities. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have PhD or Msc Engineering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies University, Ecole suprieure, etc. or equivalent. You have at least 4 years of relevant working experience. You have strong technical background in telecommunication engineering and knowledge of the relevant communication protocols. You have a good knowledge of the main satellite and wireless terrestrial telecom standards. You have experience with communication system HW prototyping and testing e.g. FPGA, DSP, GPU, microprocessors. You possess a broad technical expertise in telecommunication networks design with particular emphasis on physical and link layer, and good understanding of multiple access telecommunication protocols. You have a strong knowledge and experience in the simulation of complex telecom links at physical and MAC layers. How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
