Providing direct interface from laser micrometers to control systems, SmartLinc™ Processor integrates into line control system communicating via Ethernet or serial port to PLC. Single unit provides communication link for 1, 2, or 3 single, dual, and triple-axis laser scanning micrometers. For communication management, processor transmits data to PLC at user-defined intervals and to user-specified locations in PLC via tags. Users can access and manage all SmartLinc devices over network.
