A cleanup company will provide free safety training to 5,000 Arizona first responders as part of settling a lawsuit in which state regulators accused the company of failing to register to handle biohazardous medical waste. Aurora, Illinois-based Aftermath Solutions Inc. also will pay a $5,000 civil penalty under the consent judgment announced Wednesday by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality .
