Intended for welding of ferritic stainless steel, particularly on thin section, aluminized material, Select FP 409Ti comes in .045 in. dia and provides stable spray arc over diverse current/voltage settings with minimal spatter and no burn-through on thin material. Titanium acts as stabilizing agent to provide oxidation and corrosion resistance. Furthermore, resistance to sensitization reduces chances of stress corrosion cracking when welding over lubricants, oils, and other hydrocarbons.
