Providing dual water blocking capability on primary, underground cable, DUAL BLOCK™ prevents water from entering cable core. First, fill compound is continuously applied into conductor interstices, preventing longitudinal water migration. Then, water-swellable powder is applied under polyethylene jacket, preventing water from migrating along neutral wires under jacket. DUAL BLOCK™ is available as option for all stranded conductor cables.
