Congresswoman Ellmers Honored as BIO Legislator of the Year

BIO announced its selection of Congresswoman Renee Ellmers (R-NC) as Legislator of the Year for 2013–2014. Calling Ellmers "a champion of America's biotechnology industry," BIO President and CEO Jim Greenwood cited her leadership and support of such critical issues as Medicare Part B, Medicare Part D, and release of sequestered of FDA user fees.
