Associated Press: State lawmakers have again rejected proposed regulations for large-scale wind energy projects, extending Connecticut's ban on new wind turbines.
The Journal Inquirer reports (http://bit.ly/1eJxP16 ) that members of a legislative committee rejected the most recent proposal from the Connecticut Siting Council. Lawmakers said the rules would make it too easy for developers to get around the regulations with waivers.
Without regulations to govern wind projects, the 2011 ban on turbines will continue...
