Mild weather in December benefited construction and reduced nominal seasonal unemployment rate increases. While not seasonally adjusted (NSA) construction unemployment rates for USA and 32 states were lower than in December 2014, construction unemployment rates for IL, MN, and NE were unchanged from 1 year ago. National employment in construction increased by 273,000 for year, and year-over-year change in unemployment rate experienced consecutive declines for each month back to October 2010.
