Construction underway on $23M expansion of Triad distribution center

Construction is underway in Eden on a $23 million project to expand Gildan Activewear's distribution hub from about 977,000 square feet to nearly 1.2 million square feet by mid-2015. Gildan officials confirmed that Pilot Mountain-based Omega Construction has begun work on the facility expansion at 602 East Meadow Road.
