We are currently looking for a Consultancy Support on Ground Station System Engineering to support our customer in Germany. Consultancy Support on Ground Station System Engineering Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will support the activities of ground segment developments in the areas of ground stations, RF and telecommunications with thefollowing tasks Engineering activities of phase B of future ground segments Responsibility of the follow up of detailed design and development activities of pahse CD of the future ground segments Maintenance and evolutions in phase E to other programmes within the company, e. g. MTG Participation in the daily activities of the STC Lab supporting systems simulations and analysis as well as small applications developments based on MathLab and Labview. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent Several years of professional experience in a similar function Experience in the field of ground stations system, subsystem design and development for TTC Experience in satellite communications ground stations Technical background in the specification of ground stations and large antennas as well as tracking systems for LEO and GEO satellites Knowledge of ECSS and CCSDS standards Knowledge of design and requirements engineering of earth observation related ground stations System experience with Link budget analysis and tools in S, X and Ka Band would be an asset. Knowledge of High Data Rate Demodulators is advantageous Ability to work autonomously with a minimum level of supervision as well as in a team Good oral and written communication skills Analytical capabilities Fluency in English is mandatory, the knowledge of French is an advantage.
